Dentist – Chesterton, IN
Danny Hayes, DMD
Originally from Portage, IN, Dr. Hayes graduated from Marian University in Indianapolis before pursuing his dental degree at the Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. During his time as a student, he was a very active member of the American Student Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, and the Stomatognathic Honor Society for excellence in fixed and removable prosthodontics
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Hayes continued to educate himself in order to further refine his skills and grow his knowledge. To date, he has taken innumerable courses covering topics such as dental implant placement and restoration, cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, laser dentistry, and bone grafting.
With 20+ years of clinical experience, Dr. Hayes is always striving for perfection in the care he provides. His ultimate goal with everyone is to give them a smile that isn’t just healthy, but attractive, comfortable, and functional as well. He is also very good at working with patients who feel nervous about visiting the dentist. He takes the time to explain everything and answer questions so most of a person’s nerves go away naturally. Helping people finally feel relaxed at the dentist is one of his favorite parts of his job.
Dr. Hayes is happily married to Kathy, and they have two sons, Patrick and Daniel, as well as a daughter named Riley. On weekends, he likes to play golf and baseball as well as go fishing, boating, traveling, and flying with his family. In fact, he is working on his private pilot certification right now!
